Africa’s Data Infrastructure Integration Company

Data infrastructure.
Integrated for Lagos and Nigeria.

Server rooms, precision cooling and critical power, designed from measured load, delivered through qualified specialists and handed over with recorded tests.

One accountable integrator for the room your operations depend on.

A dependable equipment room starts with a clear picture of its load, power, cooling and cabling. When every part is planned together, the room is easier to run, cheaper to cool and safer to change.

AFRICORE scopes, designs, coordinates and verifies the whole environment. Electrical, mechanical and installation work is carried out by qualified engineers, OEMs and authorised partners named for each project in the quotation.

Services

Five integration services. Engineered per project.

01Server rooms

Enterprise server room design and build

For organisations building a new equipment room or upgrading one that has grown without a plan. We start by checking whether a room is the right answer at all.

  • Infrastructure Readiness Assessment of the site and current load
  • Options review covering on premise, colocation, cloud or a mix
  • Room design brief covering layout, power, cooling, racks, cabling, fire and access interfaces
  • Costed design and bill of quantities for the agreed option

02Cooling

Precision cooling, airflow and containment

For server rooms and data halls with hot spots, unstable temperatures or a growth plan the current cooling may not support.

  • Measured load, temperature and airflow survey of the agreed space
  • Assessment of the existing cooling against load, growth and availability needs
  • Options covering airflow fixes, blanking and containment, precision cooling, or staged upgrades
  • Specification and bill of quantities for the agreed option, designed by qualified engineers

03Critical power

Critical power, UPS and PDU integration

For equipment environments where grid instability, generator changeover and ageing UPS units put operations at risk.

  • Critical load schedule and single line review of the IT power path
  • UPS, battery, changeover and distribution condition assessment
  • Options for UPS, PDU and distribution upgrades sized to load and growth
  • Specification and bill of quantities, designed by qualified electrical engineers

04Racks and cabling

Racks, structured cabling, connectivity and monitoring

For rooms where cabling has grown unplanned, racks are full or unstable, and nobody is alerted when conditions change.

  • Rack, cabling and connectivity survey of the agreed space
  • Rack layout, cable routing and labelling scheme
  • Structured cabling and connectivity design with bill of quantities
  • Environmental and power monitoring scope with defined alert recipients

05Continuity

Commissioning, backup and continuity scope

For organisations that need evidence their equipment environment and backups will recover, and a maintenance plan that keeps it that way.

  • Continuity review of power, cooling, connectivity and backup dependencies
  • Prioritised risk register linked to observed evidence
  • Commissioning and handover checklist for installed infrastructure
  • Restore test plan, run with your ICT team

Engineering process

Assessment first. No price before the site is understood.

  1. 01

    Readiness assessment

Measured load, power, cooling, cabling and continuity of one agreed environment.

  2. 02

    Costed design and BOQ

Options, specification and quantities prepared with qualified engineers.

  3. 03

    Written quotation

Fee, named specialists and acceptance criteria agreed before procurement.

  4. 04

    Coordinated delivery

Procurement, installation and site interfaces managed as one programme.

  5. 05

    Tested handover

Tests against written criteria, as built records and a maintenance plan.
